"Another splendid residential weekend with Durham Scratch Choir at Emmaus Youth Village. We were joined again by members of Darlington Sing who greatly enhanced our enjoyment.
Andy was on great form again; bringing his infectious enthusiasm and skill ( not to mention tolerance! ) and was joined this time by Lindsay Hannan who brought a new and exciting jazz-inspired dimension to the repertoire.
The venue was warm and welcoming and the catering delicious.
We all appreciated the evening entertainment with its usual mix of fun, inventiveness and talent. Some of our own accomplished musicians played for a ceilidh set which was greatly and noisily relished by the more unselfconscious of us!
